World Museum Day

To celebrate the Museum Day on 18 May 2023 a Drawing Competition was held in the precincts of the Lepcha Gumba and Museum. Nearly 300 students from Classes 6,7 and 8 from nearly all the schools in Kalimpong participated in the Drawing Competition organised by the Bong Lepcha Museum and Monastery. The Chief Guest was the Acting Superintendent of Police Ms Subhanwita, IPS. Cash prizes were given the first three best drawings and also consolation prizes. District Magistrate was represented by Ms Esther Lepcha and the MLLAD was represented by Ms Samrit Lepcha, the Master of Ceremonies was Mr Anukalp Rai.
